I want to buy some type of body kit for a 97 civic ex and I kind of picked out something that looks good but also really clean. Let me know what you guys think about these.

Side skirts

Still looking into a small spoiler for it or do you think I should just go with no wing?
Im still open to any other ideas that will look really clean. So i just want to here everybody else's opinion on any visual ideas.

A lot of people are going to tell you not to go with a body kit because it's considered rice. But it's your car you should do what you want with it.

But for me I would put a CTR lip on the front and back. Then lower it with some rims.

of course its up to you but not many people use body kits on civics anymore. Its more common to do conversions...
a nice look on your 97ex could be something simple like an SI look.red/white taillights, si grille and lip kit.
Heres some inspiration:

mixing the cwest 2 front bumper with buddy club 2 sides and rear might look funny since they do not follow the same lines..if you want a body kit that looks nice I'd recommend the Buddy Club 1 full kit or C-West 1 full kit, the main thing to remember about body kit is that a lot of the replica stuff out there will have very bad fitment, so in this case you really get what you pay for. You do not want to be driving down the road and have the bottom of your front bumper flapping in the wind. If you really want to get a body kit I say go for it but invest in the real thing, not a replica.

I give you permission to copy the car above this post =)

Yeah I like the buddy club kit but i dont like the small fog lights on the front bumber and I want to kind of look stock but to not be completely stock. Thats why im thinking of doing the whole Si thing.

You can piece it together; cheap replica or OEM whichever you'd like.
There are tutorials on the 96-98 SI style grill (Metal Mesh instead of plastic vents)
Link: http://www.clubcivic.com/board/showthread.php?t=57767
When it comes to lips; check out an SiR or CTR Lip

(Replica or OEM; whichever you'd like, OEM may cost 2x-3x more but you won't have mounting issues)
The thing about the picture I posted though (2slo4u's 2000 HX Civic) Is that it's a 1999-2000 model which has a different front end from that of 1996-1998 6th gens; you can do that front end conversion too but it would be very costly; better off saving up for an engine swap or something else.
If you were wondering too; to copy almost everything else the rims appear to be either:
Work Emotion CR Kai's // Drag DR-31's // Mugen MF-10 // Rota Circuit 10

That spoiler is a mugen one right? Is there any other brands that look similar to that and maybe just a bit bigger maybe? I really don't wanna pay like $500 for a spoiler

Body kits are a love and hate thing. Some can look really good and aggressive while some will be too gaudy.
Many prefer lower lip spoilers but if being different is your goal..this in not an option.

Me personally ..I can appreciate any body kit if the fitment and paint work is on point.

Body kits require bigger wheels to really make it work.

Having a body kit with 15u inch wheels look rediculous.
what u really have to figure out is what u want your final outcome to be.

Having a clean installed body kit and making everything flow will cost u a lot of money

You can do whatever you want, its your car.
Me personally, I would go the SI look.
Body kits look too ricey for my taste especially if their non functional like a huge spoiler. I say you save up and get a really good suspension KoniYellows/GW coilovers and slam it.
I know from experience that your car will transform if you drop it.

thats a ... answer.

ppl get koni/gc setup because of customized spring rates for either comfort or aggressive for track use.

whats the point of getting such a expensive set up to "slam it"?

slamming it...rides like s**t...if you are going to slam a car to the ground, might as well get cheap ass coilovers cuz thats exactly how it will ride.

please dont recommend things like this to people.
just cuz honda tech gods swear on their mommas of this set up doesnt mean its good for OP
