Advice needed

So I'm driving a 94 civic dx D15 (automatic) and I would like a little input on several things. The current engine has 50000 miles on it after being rebuild and I know I don't want to swap with this one in such good condition. My plan was to turn the car into a little project and have a little fun with it, but now I'm having second thoughts. Being the fact it's an automatic, I feel like I would only be wasting my money putting in a turbo and replacing parts. Just resently I have considered just waiting until I get out of school (about one more year) and get my self an 8th gen Si and put all my money into that. I guess my question is, would it be beneficial to try and have fun with the 94 civic now, or just wait? Any advice would be great

Just wait it out man, save the moony for the new civic if that's what your overall goal is. Any money you spend now is just going to put your dream of buying a new civic farther off.

Exactly, just keep spending to a minimum and you will have that 8th gen in no time man! if it's what you want!

Save and get another cheaper civic to build

Or

Save and buy the newer civic

Or

Rebuild current civic and walk places

You decide.

Yeah, you guys made up my mind, no point in spend money on a 1.5 auto when my dream car is just waiting to be bought. I know this current civic will last a long time and for time being it looks nice and will get me from point A to point B. thanks for your input fellas
