Diablo 3 Is Almost Here!

My civic is slow.
11 more days. Hit me a couple days ago that it was getting this close. Anyone remember opening up D2 and seeing the teaser D3 banner at the top of the server list?!

So just wondering, what class are you going to play and what are you looking forward to in this game?

I'm looking forward to seeing the servers crash the first day . and then finally being able to play 2 days after release lol .

blizzard isn't ready for how many people have been waiting 12 years for this game lol .

I've been waiting for this game as well! Played the closed beta a bit and am dying to get my hands on the full game on May 15!

I plan on playing at the Monk due to some of the awesome skills you get at higher levels, got some other buddies who are going to play, two being barbs, one being a demon hunter and another undecided. They say the more variety the better chance you will have in Inferno, though i've heard Inferno should still be SUPER difficult!

Looking forward to a secret level much like the secret cow level from D2. There was a rumor going around about a possible rainbows and unicorns level.. that would be epic! Also hoping they incorporate some UBER bosses like they did in D2. Auction house will be interesting.. if you're good enough you can sell your items for real money online.. and its REALLY easy to do! I hear there's going to be an expansion, so hopefully it'll add more classes, possibly the ability for 8 players in a game (It's capped at 4 now) and also might add a higher level cap (currently 60 will be the highest level)

My computer isn't good enough to play the beta :lol:. I've been waiting for this for many years as well. I was hooked on D2 like no other back in high school which was over 7 years ago now. Even more so in college when I finally had no parent's around ;).

I've heard from a couple people they were disappointed though.

I've heard good and bad things about the beta. But the beta is just a beta in my opinion. I'm not going to lie, being a big fan of D2 without pvp, I'm mostly looking forward to the pvp arenas they are going to add to the game (god knows when). But I think it's a good idea they don't release it with the game for a few reasons. 1. It gives players time to level and not rush into pvp. 2. Hopefully it isn't broken like some pvp classes/arena teams in WoW.

i like the auction house idea. making real world money, ima try to make my money back! haha. anyone wanna join me on day one? i wont know anyone locally or friends that plans on getting it. i have no friends :( lol

I played the beta, and this game is too similar to diablo 2. Diablo 2 was a great game for its time... but if it were released today, nobody would play it. It just isn't in the same league as modern games. I think the only people who will like Diablo 3 are the ones who played Diablo 2 and just want more of it. I have a feeling that anybody who didn't play D2 and was just wondering what all the fuss was about, will hate D3.

This is coming from someone who played D2...

Well sounds like I'm going to love it

But they are adding A LOT more things that will make it more like modern games. The beta is just to see how it feels and looks. Just like any other beta. So I guess you mean, people who aren't use to games like diablo won't like it.

If you're still playing d2, then yes, you'll love d3.

I don't know all of what they're adding, but the story mode doesn't feel any different, and I don't think they can add much to make it feel any different. Games like diablo, in general, I feel are outdated. Not that people are or aren't used to them.. it's just an old game style that doesn't really hold up to modern gaming, in my opinion.

Do you have any other games that require battle.net log in.. like StarCraft 2? I play that and add people when I'm on, otherwise just wait until the game is released and add me then when you log in.
