Another Oil Consumption Thead

What's up guys, I have an oil consumption issue that I'm trying to diagnose.
I have a '96 Hatch with a b18c swap with supposedly around 80k.

First of all: burnt about a quart of oil in 4 days(approx 300 miles).
Engine runs good, other than the fact that it burns oil like crazy.
Ran a compression test and got: 190-185-190-190.
Then we did a 2nd gear pull from about 2k rpm's to 7.5k and got a plume of smoke at about 4k that lasted until i let off. After letting off the throttle and letting the engine braking slow me down, no more smoke came out.
Everything points to Rings for me, other than the compression test, but at this point I have no idea.

If the compression test was good, it most likely wouldn't be the piston rings.

When the engine is cold, on start-up, does a puff of blue smoke come out the exhaust? Do you have any oil leaks anywhere on the engine?

I'm thinking valve seals and/or valve guides. I've also read it could be bad oil rings. Their job is to scrape the oil off the cylinder walls.

No oil leaks, and I'll check on the blue puff of smoke here later since it's nice and cold out today.
As for the oil rings, wouldn't the compression ring still keep the oil from entering the combustion chamber and thus not burn oil? That's what I assumed at least.
I'm hoping it's just valve seals or guides, but still going through Some trial and error.

Also, before anyone asks, I just replaced the PCV valve so that shouldn't be the issue.

A little update here. Still burning oil like crazy after I replaced the PCV Valve. I've also noticed that the car really seems to smoke when I'm very light on the throttle, during daily driving. When I really get on it, up to about 4k, there isn't any issue, but if I baby the throttle it really seems to smoke. I'm lost. I'm gonna start looking for a new head as hope that's the issue, unless I can figure out what the problem is. Thanks guys.

what oil brand and weight are you running? you might want to try running slightly thicker oil and see if that helps.
