well u will need a pair of RCA wires to run from your headunit (sub out) wires and run those to signal in on the amp and that should be on one side of your car

On the other you want to run wire (usually 4 AWG will work) with a fuse (within 12" from battery) and run that from the positive terminal of your battery to the power on the amp. Then u will need to run a remote wire from the headunit to the remote terminal on the amp. then u need to ground the amp to solid metal surface of the car.

A remote wire is just a simple wire that tells the amp to turn on when the headunit powers on.

Fuse size depends on the wire gauge for a 4 AWG wire u should use a 100A fuse

and about 15ft should be good

When I did mine I used about 6 feet of all the wiring. You can easily roughly measure it with a tape measurer along the path you are going to run the wire and rcas. I used a 10 fuse but it blew eventually and I switched to a 20 and that was plenty for my setup. You'll need a wire splice aswell to connect the battery to the back of the stereo as a remote turn on so it doesn't drain your battery when your car is off.

How much power were u running through your system? and what gauge wire? The fuse in the wire is to make sure u dont run to much current to ruin your power wire or battery. 20 Amps is pretty low. Amps have fuses built in that protect the amp.

It was a 600 watt amp so it wasn't big at all but it ran 2 12s. It was pretty thin gauge. Standard electrical wire. I didn't use monster wire or anything cause I didn't deed it.

just go to walmart and buy an amp kit. a 600w amp doesnt need heavy wires. it even has instructions. 30 bucks total...
