]Hey I purchased a used transmission from the junkyard and got it installed into my 98 Civic EX AT. After it was installed the car would flare up an extra 1000rpm when it switches from 2nd to 3rd gear I believe. CEL Light came on but when I would go get it diagnosed it says to turn the car off for 10 seconds and then turn it on, but the car resets and the CEL doesn't come back on? Can this be like a speed sensor or something? Transmission that got installed has 89k miles on it, runs better than the old transmission but thats the only issue. I hope this is an easy fix. and RonJ I know I may have got off on the wrong foot with you but I think you can be the guy who can tell me exactly what it is
