Is it VTEC????

This is my Friends EK, he recieved it from his fathers friend and he hasnt done any mods himself, everything on it is what his dads friend put on it. He was wondering if he has VTEC on his D16, since there isnt anything on the car that says or menitons VTEC we arent sure if it has it. My guess is yes but i am somwhat of a 'rookie' so i wuld like some help from u guys.

Yep it has vtec

That's a VTEC solenoid (albeit a rusty/dirty one), so it has VTEC. It's likely a D16Y8. An EX.
