Questions about intake manifold

Hi guys,
Im new to this site and I'm wondering if you guys could help me out. I'm looking at buying an intake manifold for my 2000 civic Sir. I've read in some places that this isn't a good idea unless you have made a lot of mods. I have the CAI, header, and exhaust. Would the intake manifold make a big difference? or would new cams be a better idea? Thanks for the help!

Well the Intake manifold would be a great mod! It wont hurt at all!... it will help, your making more power more effiecently! But If given the chance I would probobly do the cams,,, more agressive = more power!

cams, valve springs and retainers... best to do them all at once.

A set of cams springs and retainers from an JDM integra typeR ore EK9 would do great in your engine.
Make sure you get the dual valve springs and not only the cams.
You will have a nice horsepower gain agressive vtec and reflimit can go up to 9000rpm.

valve train technically only needs to be upgraded if its a stage 2 cam or more aggresive.
that being said even if you go with a stage one i would still do it.
While your doing cam go ahead and get an adjustable cam gear to go along with it.

^ yes it would be more of a gain. bolt on really dont give u any extra power like they say they will. Some mods will actually make u loose hp

going to have to get tuned too..with all the money spent, you might be disappointed in the power result, but atleast you did what you wanted to do
