i don't even know if there's any other members there other than you... there's a couple here in SW michigan / N indiana but i hardly ever see them.
damn. i live right by woodward too! lot of kids with random cars meet at random places off woodward but i never really have time to stop by.
The Southgate Sonic and Old Country Buffet in Taylor. Both every Friday.
I don't know anyone with a hatch besides Jay and Hector. All the guys on RaceHubChicago are from the southside and only do their meets of course... on the southside. It's as if I am in the middle of nowhere with 3 modified Civics. I started my own damn group between me and my husband. 
I attend the various larger JDM Chicago meets and local shop bbq's, but the key thing that I miss the most is just gathering with other Civic owners without them thinking that you are a potential thief when you talk to other owners at those types of meets. I refuse to go on HT and mingle. I've tried to see if anyone was even active on clubeg6 with no luck. We can't even get a group of current owners together on this site. 
I'm still friends with the guys I've met off here on FB, but they have moved on to other makes of the scene and I really don't feel like we can relate to each other anymore. Where is that community that I crave? It's just a sad situation and that is my rant.

Connie I feel you i'm on JDM Chicago too but never went to any if the meets because I feel like my car isnt meet worthy. I see pics of the cars at the meets and they look flawless. I use to go on HT but its mostly rude assholes so I don't even bother. My schedule for next month will be open if you guys serious about meeting up though. I won't be able to do it the first week of June though :/

Yeah, all the pictures they post are full of the same garbage you see at every single meet with maybe 5 different cars each time.
The iLL Garage meet was FULL of Civics galore!! I was really in heaven. But you maybe saw about 10 pictures of them. My cars aren't MINT pieces, but they are somewhat clean of rust with umph under the hoods. I even went with my Malibu to a meet once. Worthy or not, it's who shows up that counts. 
I think the CC meet is still up in the air. No one else showed any interest in it when I mentioned a place, time, and date in the other thread in the Off Topic Lounge.
Where was I when the ill garage meet was going on haha. I wish there was more people around that is into civics. And my car I'll soon be in better condition once I save up the $700 to replace the rusted quarter panels and the paint job haha. Either way I'll be able to tell you what the schedule will be on Thursday. to get to chicago and back, plus whatever driving there, would cost me at least $60 in gas.... plus food/drink expenses... my car gets 24mpg hwy and around 20 in the city...
the dunes are closer to me, about 40 mins away, so that would only cost me about $40 for the whole day

Actually Justin, I did mean an actual ClubCivic meet between the folks that are currently chatting on CC about wanting to get one going the past 4 months.
I know our usual group meet(s) on FB hasn't been discussed yet. I did however notice the old group for the BBQ pop up today. I thought that to be kind of odd and was going to ask Shane if we were planning something on that group wall. Then I noticed he wasn't listed on that.
I guess it can be either way. If its decided on Chicago maybe we can put $ together to help
