I feel ya. I'm stuck between deciding if I want to rebuild my current transmission, or do a b16 swap. Because if I rebuild this transmission I want to be sure that I'll be happy with this motor. And it's my daily so no matter what I do I've gotta be able to knock it out in a weekend.

So I decided to go after the locked up exhaust cam. My plan of attack worked!
I loosened all the exhaust valve nuts, backed the crank of TDC and started rotating the cam and it moved (with some effort. It had been sitting in the head for a long time)! So I put the crank back to TDC and rotated and it continued to rotate. So just the clearances were all effed so I will be doing a valve adjustment before and after the motor is run the first time.Sounds good dawg. I need to be more active on ClubCivic.. I'm posting like twice a month
