Why wont a insurance company cover you? Im 17 and have a 02' 4-door, a 96' hatch, and a 99' Ford F-150!

Sucks you can't keep the car; the color is unique. The 1.4's are carbed, correct?

Do you guys have emissions over there? Would an insurance company keep you w/ the hatch if you swapped a motor?

think you can get an injected one aswell, ya we have the emissions tests aswell
alot of people do the conversion here, we just dont tell the insurance company
the downside is that if you crash and they find out they'll get your car crushed

i dont understand why they just refuse to cover you there has to be a company that will i can understand if it was just really expensive, but flat out not covering you dosent seem right.
why not let your parents insure it in their name and you just pay the bill? my old 5.0 was done like that i was just listed as an occosnial driver so i was covered.

Most of Europe has tougher laws, and better drivers than us for this reason. They're on learners permits longer too. Honestly I think its a good idea. Majority of people can't handle cars that young. Some can...few can't.

i prefer the look of a hatchback anyway so i'll be just as happy with an sir spec hatchback
