Also, this thread is way past it's prime, but yeah. Good to see there are some girls still around. I was a member of clubintegra for a long time (two DC2's before I bought my EJ8), and it's rare to see girls with a legitimate passion for cars, particularly building them themselves.
On a previous note about people getting older, and losing their passion, I kind of understand. I'm 26, have a good job, make good money, and I find myself getting tired of working on my teenage dream. I'm in the market for a BMW 335i for my DD, and have convinced myself to keep my EJ8 and do a K24a4 Turbo build in it (bout to purchase the swap, actually), but I had to have my buddies push the hell out of me. I was all but ready to trade my EJ8 in to a dealership because I was sick of dealing with it.. I guess it's all circumstantial.

at 31, i know exactly how you feel. however, the bug still bites and the joy is still there... every now and then.... there's just so much less time and so many other things going on with higher priorities... like securing and investing in a home.
Exactly! I'm moving into a new (MUCH bigger) home pretty soon here. I need a sectional now, as the couch we're using belongs to my roommate whom is staying in the house I'm currently at, I need a new fridge, microwave, my dryer is on it's last leg.. things just add up. Thankfully, it's still a ways away before we move, so I have a cushion. It's one of the few times I can afford to put a big lump of change into my car.
