My brother is about to get his first car, and he wants to start learning about it, and potentially modifying it in the future. I know some people on here have an interest in camaros. Anybody know of a good camaro forum with knowledgeable people and a good community that I can point him to?

The only one I belonged to was njfboa.org. It was a good forum, but is for NJ residents. I'd suggest just looking around to get a feel for one. Trial and error.

And what makes that different from any other forum? This site is full of insane fanboys, especially when a Civic is the worst for performance as far as popularly modded cars go. Stock for stock, my '94 piece of crap V6 Camaro handled better than my '03 EM2, and was faster in a straight line.

Assuming that it's not only a V8 Camaro, but also has an LS1. Camaro's didn't start with the LS1 until like '97 or '98.

I believe he's getting a new V6... I know absolutely nothing about camaros, but I'm pretty sure that's what he said he's getting. No clue what model.... all I know is that I want to start him out right... find a place he can learn about his car without the negative side effects. We were all lucky enough to find a civic forum that does just that. I'm hoping I can do the same for him.

Unfortunately I still don't have any suggestions. But you can still browse a forum and get a feel for it.

^^Yea, I think that's what I'll have to do. We did have some camaro guys here at one point, but I guess they're no longer around.
