I came back from work a couple of minutes ago and I popped the Hood just to find everything splattered with what I think is Antifreeze. Do you guys know what could've caused it? I'm thinking it was the Rad cap, Hoses attached to Rad cap, or the reservoir cap. What do you guys think? Here's some pics. By the way I drive a 99 coupe with a D16y8 5 speed

My car is already nice, but I've been dropping money into it every week whether its a new tire or an o2 sensor. But I still have money left over from Graduation so I'm gonna get both =)

Did you see the coolant coming out of there? Let's hope that's not the only problem. You can pick up an oem-replacement one from rockauto for around $60, then there's shipping prices; or get an OEM one from your local dealer or at oemacuraparts for $200, not including shipping. Even at that; aftermarket performance radiators are at around <$200; check out the CC store:

I've bought most of my parts from rockauto, so I can vouch for the legitimacy and have definitely saved money and my car from being junked; I just don't know of the quality of their oem-replacement radiators though.

Eh, the older Samsung Galaxy S2 ain't a bad phone still, but i'd sure as hell wouldn't take it over my Motorola Atrix 4g. My mother bought an S2 and it's quick and all, but the Atrix is much better even though it's a bit older. Compared to the two smart phones, bar/flip phones that are non-android OS like the old Nokia's are still great, text and call... all you really need.

The phone's just 200$ and I'm pretty sure that's not that much for something you will use everyday for at least 2 or 3 hours a day (depending on who you are and your uses). Besides I can just get a new radiator. And no that's the one and only place where it was leaking. Because its splattered everywhere I'm guessing the wind coming in between the Hood and the front bumper pushed it back.

I had the same problem as you and replaced my radiator a few hours ago on my 1998 Civic LX. My radiator cracked in the same exact spot and I noticed the spongy material was soaked with coolant. The engine would get covered with coolant after a hot day of driving.

The radiators are cheap at AutoZone, and have a "limited lifetime warranty" through AutoZone -- for what it's worth. I ended up paying $100 for everything, but I'm sure there's cheaper. I reused all my hoses and clamps though.

You'd better hurry. Summer's just started.

You're right and it gets pretty hot here in San Antonio.
