Um I couldn't give exact savings but I can throw some guesstimates. I've spent around 70 dollars in prep materials (Bondo, Sand paper, acetone, primer) Maaco will do an eh paint job for around 200-300. A professional paint job using high grade paint and the 7 coats of clear I want will be around 1k.im loving the car and the potential. Just a quick question for you if you dont mind, regarding paint jobs.
How much is it costing you to paint it yourself compared to going to a paint shop? and which paints out of mettallic greenish look or black is cheaper?
Thanks in advance and good luck with the build man. Really digging it
awesome cause i currently have a red 1994 coupe and the paint on the hood is fading badly, same with the roof top. I want to get a glossy black paint job thats going to last awhile so i was just looking for some pointers cause i wanna learn how to do it myself for the future and looks fun. Well thanks for the estimates and where do you recommend buying the paint also if you dont mind?Um I couldn't give exact savings but I can throw some guesstimates.
