It looked a lot better before you added your ricer stickers. Your car isnt low enough for that "daily scraping" sticker ;)

you are either leaking, burning it, or both. there is no other way to lose 4 quarts that quick unless a major issue. and you are leaking it if anything. to burn 4 quarts in three days means your car has to run like s***, no piston rings left, high crank pressure, and a whole lot of driving. but you might have so much oil in your combustion chambers that the compression hasnt been lost yet.

and i would check your coolant, your headgasket could be blown and coming from there. just some things to think about

and holy balloon tires. like 195/65's lol

but overall its looking better and hopefully you find the issue
lol getting 165/45's real soon and hopefully i will be able to tuck them in if not im going to look for new wheels
thanks for the tips

^yeah actually there are haha sorry havnt been on clubcivic in a while been one em1crew a lot. But yeah so im back to my si wheels because i got tired of my car not being functionable... Tire rub, camber wear, and just not being able to corner fast just ruined it for me so im back on my si wheels and i love them (corners are so fun now). But i lost a lot of money doing that to my car and i regret it but lesson learned right..? Anyways i figured out whats going on with my motor... I burn a quart of oil once a week with is like 200 miles for me that is not good at all. The vtec mechanic dude thinks it need new valve seals, valve guides, valve job and possibly some head work but he really wouldn't know whats going on untill we got the head out and took to the cylinder head guy...

But theres almost 154k miles on the odometer so i've been debating my options...

1. I could fix the motor for around $500-600 and it wouldnt burn as MUCH oil but it still would burn some. The only thing im worried about fixing it is, what if the piston rings get old or something else major happens later on down the road and then ill really be out of some money

2. I thought about fixing it then selling it so maybe i could a 09 si sedan because im in love with those cars right now, but i love my em1 way too much and i dont think i could sell it to some stranger... lol

3. B18c1 swap im really leaning towards doing this because i have the money and its perfect timing. Im going to start college in the fall and if i swapped it during the summer i would still have some time to work and make some more money before school starts and i want this car to last me through the next 4-5 years. Plus i would be gaining some more hp which always a plus =)

Anyways thats that but a lot of you guys were right in the beginning when i was buying cheap parts because now a lot of them are breaking so i learned that hard way and im not too proud of it but again lesson learned... Fogs lights broke, Front lip paint started pealing off, im not happy with my magnaflow setup i want it to be louder and i want to go lower so i really want some koni yellows/ground. Hopefully all this will come later on down the road after i get it everything running right but that were everythings at right now, sorry for not updating often

The "vtec mechanic"? lol. Most likely your piston rings are broken and valve stem seals are shot. No sense just doing the headwork. +1 for the GSR!

but still ever since i bought the car a little over a year ago i was putting a quart in it every 2 weeks and i rarely ever hit vtec but when i did A LOT of white smoke would come out and now its just gotten worse and i think its just time for a swap. Plus i want to repaint the bay and wire tuck it

GSR FTW....we all make those first cheap mods when we start..I had eBay part on my sedan and I wasn't tht pleased with some of the things but others were pretty good...like most fake parts it hit or miss most of the time but at least u live and learn right...I'll be sure to wait and save for real part on this coupe.

Well gave the shop the down payment on the GSR! He said hes going to order it after the 4th so im pretty pumped on that and i went ahead and picked these up off a guy on craigslist because ive been wanted them for awhile. Got the fronts in yesterday and lowered them 2 threads from the bottom and it looks AWESOME! Will post pics after i get the rears in this weekend

No work today means time to work on the car. Got the rear coils on and took some pictures. Im really happy with the drop and the ride is a little rough with the damping all the way hard but it feels so good cornering and i would highly recommend this setup its AWESOME! lol heres a lot of pics =)
