scraping the bottom of the car over speed bumps

my car is lowered, I go at angles over speed bumps but at times when I can't go far out so that my rear wheels go one at a time over the speed bump (when a car is occupying the neighboring lane) and i'm force to just drive straight. the mid section of my car scrapes. what damage is being done to what part? I looked under and I believe its the exhaust that gets scuffed the most? the oil pan is pretty much right below my legs in the car so I know its not hitting that.

Did you roll your fenders?
this has nothing to do with the bottom of the car scrapping.

@op yes your exhaust scrapes. you can either raise the car or try to tuck the exhaust up. Personally I smile every time my car scrapes

You wont be smiling when you have a hole in your exhaust pipe.

yeah my sedan scrapes too. its harder when thers 3-4 person in it... i get just around 3-4 inches ofg clearance from the tarmac.
speedbumps are everywhere over here. i scrape the center part of the exhaust everyday.
but exhaust pipes are aplenty here, so looks wins it...

Or worse if he pinches the exhaust pipe!

So what shocks & springs do you have?

like I said I have a complete exhaust system sitting in my garage waiting to be installed. If I either scrape a hole or pinch it's an easy swap. Exhaust piping is easy to come by.

Are you asking me? I'm currently running tockico blues with skunk2 sleeves.

Buy a new one duh ;)

In all honestly when I replace the exhaust I'm gonna tuck it up as far as I can to help prevent it from happening. As it is already I avoid known speed bumps/pot holes as much as I can.

You gotta pay to play. either raise the car or realize the being Slammed is going to cost you. On the Lexus I've broke my exhaust twice now, lost a mid flap and had to replace the front lip. Its usually stuff on the highway our like you said can't angle enough.
