Thanks for the support man.Man I'm gonna be so happy when you fix this problem.. I'm rooting for you man lol. Head studs sound like your best bet. Idk if it will help but while the heads off it may be a good idea to inspect the block for areas that may be warp. If u can get your hands on a base indicator you can get some measurements.
I love that manual. You can tell from the pic that it sees tons of use. I'm hoping the bulbs don't create hotspots without the blue coating. That's what I'm worried about.Yeah I have the exact same manual. Helped me through my suspension installation. Wish my cluster was a little bit brighter too. I've been wanting to install LEDs. But I've seen some pics and it shows hot spots. I'll probably just replace the bulbs later down the road with some new ones. Hopefully it gets a little bit better.
OK cool, I was worried about having hotspots.the bulbs will be fine. im using replacement bulbs without a the blue covers. The covers just change the tint to the light. They make them closer to a plain white rather than a light yellow tone.
What type of straight edge do you recommend I use. I don't have a machinist's level or something comparable.A flat edge and feeler gauges would answer your block issue in 5 seconds.....
Is that how you did you cluster? Can you just plug the bulb into the OEM socket?looks up led bulbs and get one with a 120 view (preferably higher than that). and you will be fairly accomplished.
Yeah it is kinda weird. If they were to combine the 94-01 Integra manual with anything, it should be with the 92-95 Civic, not the 96-00 Civic and CR-V.So that's what the haynes manual for the 94-01 integras is. I kept only seeing the 90-93 Acura Integra manuals, but they put the integra with the civic.
Yeah, that's the same problem that I have. I'll have to look around for one I can borrow.Well you would need a mechanic grade or machinest since your dealig with fractions of a inch. I'd look online for one, I know they aren't cheap though which is why i didnt get one yet
Thanks man! I'm glad you enjoyed it. There will be more coming eventually.51 pages and two hours later, all I can say is wow. Keep your head up, there is always light at the end of the tunnel. Great build, great work.
Thanks for the heads up. I actually have a feeler gauge though. I use it to gap spark plugs. If you know where to get a machinist's straightedge on the cheap, let me know. They have feeler gauge at autozone it really cheap to.
