99-00 civic rear seats fit in a 96 civic ex coupe

hey...i got a 96 civic ex coupe well the previous owner thought it would be great to put integra coupe rear seats in it and they look like s**t...i got a pair if 99-00 civic seats i can get but i hav been reading that the bottoms do not fit...i was wondering if ther was any modifications that can be done to them to make them fit...thanks

Considering you can use rear seats from an Integra, RSX, EP3, etc....you should be fine using 6th gen civic seats in a 6th gen civic.

as far as i know they should be a direct fit? where did you read they don't fit?

Yes any 96-00 civic COUPE seats will fit any other 96-00 civic coupe

That's the thread I found as well. I used one of their posts . But yeah...doesn't really seem to not make sense if you think about it.

ya i hear ya...they r pretty much the same car minus the couple little things they tweaked in the front end...i might as well try it and see wat happens...if it dont just bolt right up ther is always a way to modify it so it does lol...

They will bolt right up. I have full 00 Si interior in mine (front + rear seats etc.). Bolts up just fine.
