So I'm picking this car up tomorrow, and I have a lot planned for it.

Its my 1st car I've ever owned thats manual. I recently learnt how to drive stick, and now that I am good at it, I love it and will never drive anything else but stick.

Anyways here are some pics from the kijiji AD.

i completely tore out the interior(aside from the dash). I cleaned it all up, sprayed it with rust proof and put it all back.

Here are a few more pics. The ricer that owned this car switched the spedo to MPH. So now i have to change it back to KM

for sale 50$

Also the car is wired for subs and an amp. Thats a plus

Just got back from the mechanic for a safety.

I need

2 lower control arms(have a backup set)
strut pin bushings(have already)
exhaust
right side axle shaft(have)
small hole on qp

So I did some body work just so I can pass safety. Then I will get the whole body re-done professionally.

Started to grind the rust off. I found so much bondo and i guess this car had the QPs cut out.

Just for now until I bring it to the mechanic on friday when everything is fixed for safety

I took off the ricer tail lights just to see what it looked like. Not too bad just some surface rust. Ill grind it out tomorrow. But ill probably get a cf trunk anyways

Just a small addition. I went to the junk yard this morning and got a front bumper. Suprised that this was mint as hell. Not even one scratch.

Just patched up the rust hole so I can pass safety. I dont think im going to do body work on this car. im going to take it to a shop. Body work is too annoying lol

Keep it up man, you're on the right track! Just an fyi, that car was an auto from the factory, the previous owner did a swap, (the ej2 gave it away, but that blingin tranny mount confirmed it lol) just make sure he did it right and you don't have any CELs on (does the cel come on when you first start the car?)

The cluster looks like a canadian cluster with the mileage/km's being on top. I think if you just take off those glow gauges you may just have kilometers underneath. Looks like a good project.

Its a different cluster from america with MPH as the primary. Because the DMV shows that the car has 250xxxkms and the cluster says 380xxx

I know that this car is the canadian special edition version though. From wikipedia: The 1995 Canadian-only DX "Special Edition" added an AM/FM cassette player, wheelcovers, center armrest console, clock, power steering and dual manual mirrors

Also it has Honda of Canada sticker on the frame

I just found out that ej2 came in auto and manual. I called my local honda dealership and I also googled it.

Well remove the gauge covers and see whats underneath.

My bad, sorry for any confusion, after zooming in on the bay shot, that does appear to be a factory tranny mount. iFail :/ lol

So I took the cluster out and removed the ricer gauges. Now my spedometer doesnt work. So I cant see which speed im going. Ughhhh.

Just to clarify, I too did a search of my own, just a lil refresher course, I've been out of the game for a bit lol but EJ1=EX EJ2=DX just thought you'd like to know. Car looks great, keep it going, I'm tuned in to see where you go with it
