The majority of those cars aren't reliable from my experiences. The WRX might be the most reliable but have weak transmissions if you beat on them, VR6 gti are fun but expensive to fix but can be reliable if treated right. S2000 not because it's a honda but because it's a nice car that i haven't seen many problems arise. Also take into factor if you live in snowy areas.

I don't care much for the tuner scene any more but would still love an S2000, maybe a 350z but I drive a Acura CL type S and will probably be getting a truck or SUV as my next car.

I live in mew england so snow is a factor. But thats not my bigest concern, i cant do two seaters, for room for both storage and myself... 6'4"... I may be young but i need some room!
What is a b5s4?
Wrx's are my fav. But buying used scares me because evwryone thinls thwy can launch them all the time...

I actually may second this... Don't buy someone elses project. It usually ends up being a disaster. I also recommend you don't buy a DSM, especially if it's modified and especially if it's owned by some young kid and especially if it's got tons of eBay goodies on it. Same goes with any car really.

but in all seriousness. i great condition all stock s4 can be had for under 13k easily, awd, and very quick. i have two friends with them and they have never had issues with them either really unless its something they were screwing with. all stock they are great and comfortable

I was thinking a bone stock wrx wagon... 70-80k miles. It would be better for my work, bike, and snow board. ahhaha. And its almost gaurenteed not to be beaten on. S4 is a possibility... and civic turbo... Im allset. Only because it is still a civic that has been beaten to piss... built right or not. :P

I would love a forester xt for my snowboard and it has the same motor as the Sri when you swap in the bigger sti turbo/tmic

Buy an St165 AWD celica, do an ST205 swap with some basic bolt on's, suspension/rims/brakes, and spend the last $3k on hookers and blow.

300hp, 3s-gte reliable engine, easy to work on, cheap, and YOU BUILT IT. Only way to live.

End of story /

EDIT: Or spend the extra money and go 185..
