2000 Honda civic dx engine swap

So my car comes with a d16y7. Which is vtech. I was wondering if i could just switch the head with a vtech head. I was told b16 doesn't fit. So what can I do?

Your post doesn't make a lot of sense, but you could put a Y8 head on it. You would need to do some modification for it to work.

Lol yeah I meant to put its a non vtech. I want to switch it to vtech.

you don't have vtech nor can you put vtech parts on your motor..vtec on the other hand you can.

Here are 2 write-ups on doing the swap. you'd get about +30 HP at the most on stock internals + bolt-ons and a loud ass oil eating modification. Expect to be spending upwards $700.
