Went from yesterday afternoon and the Aviation school telling me I don't qualify for enough student loans to cover tuition (short my $11,000) to going back to my previous school and paying for a full semester out of pocket, well on my southwest airlines visa! and heading to the aviation school in January when I qualify for the post 9/11 gi bill that will cover my tuition

Got to work an hour early so I can leave early to get the keys to the new place.
I'm popping an energy pill here in a bit so I don't slow down tonight when moving. We have until Sunday to be fully moved/old unit empty/clean, and it's only Rob and I since our help bailed.
I'm so stressed I'm really close to breaking down and crying. I hate being a woman!

Moving never stresses me; and especially a move 1 door down. It's the time frame, and the jerking around the leasing office has done w/ us. We've had to go to corporate to complain, and my goal is to get the complex manager fired, or better yet...smashed by a city bus. Also a $500 refund and new garage door.

Same s**t happened to me!
They cleaned carpets, it was move in day, carpet was nasty worn down, i demanded replacement...got new carpet and upon install they f**ked the vinyl in the bathroom. Such bullshhit just to move across the hall, one door down! Kelly hang tight
Mine's a bit different than that. They want a
$100 security/admin fee check---OK b/c I added my BF to the lease, had to do an app, background, etc
$100 holding check--why??
$100 pet admin fee check(for WHAT?! are they going to run a background check on my dog?!)
$200 pet fee, that I will get back from my unit I'm in now in a month or so,but I have to give them 200 now, instead of them just xfering it to the new unit.
They also f**ked us over on units. We originally signed on a 2 story loft/garage..they gave it to someone else. said "money talks". b***h I'm a current resident and pay $1350/m...how is my money not talking?!
So then she moves us to a single story, top floor unit we didn't want w/ a detached garage. She THEN moves us to a 2 story townhouse w/ attached garage that we want. But she moves the date back a week, screwing us up b/c we already had the time off from work, and now we don't.
We also paid our July rent prorated until the 20th, so our rent is all screwed up b/c of her.
She did all of this w/o our consent. The unit we're moving into, was SUPPOSED to be last week but she messed other crap up. All she does is lie to cover her tracks, she gets caught by me, is ticked b/c I know what I'm doing since I've lived on my own for 11 years, and I do mortgages for a living, so she makes up all these fees and doesn't care.

Im sorry but i went through simiilar situation! I was supposed to be moved in on the 18th, never moved in until the 24th! They told me i had to be out of my old one by the 22nd bc they already rented it out and needed it to be ready by the 1st...they all do this s**t! Hope you feel better

Just got a call about 10 mins ago that my basset hound back home died at 215. He is who made me fall in love w/ the breed.
He lived to be 13, and ended up being virtually blind and deaf. Apparently he did his puppers mumbles to his momma to be put on the couch(arthritis in his hips). When she put him up there, he climbed onto her, breathed 4 times deeply, and passed away.
I just want to hold my basset and cry and tell her how much I love her right now. Instead, I'm sobbing at my desk. f**k TODAY!

This is sadly an inevitable depressing part of life :/ I'm sure you provide him with the best life you could and that's all he could ask for. He's finally at rest and in a better place. Just try and focus on all the joy and good he brought into your home and life. I dread this day for my dachshund, marley

Taking a quick break from moving. All is over except the bed and dresser. I started at 530, Rob got home at 630 and helped. Almost an entire 2 bedroom townhouse moved in almost 4.5 hours. I'm a beast! Rob is pretty shocked I was able to handle it all.

I will only turn the Olympics on when it's time for women's volleyball. Even then, the tv will be on mute.
