I'm having this issue on my 1996 civic ex. It's always had a bad 2nd gear synchro so I've had to skip second since I got the car and now my clutch pedal has become extremely easy to press, not much pressure to it. I checked the fluid reservoir and it's really low, but I can still see some fluid down there, could this alone be the issue? Or does anyone think something else? I plan on adding fluid to it later today but I'm at work until 4

It might be. If its too low I would bleed the lines and see if it helps after adding more fluid ofcourse =)

I work in a kitchen and a mechanic came into the restaurant earlier and I talked to him about it. He said "well don't you know if your pedals soft, they make a little blue pill for that" lol

But yeah he said he'd bleed the system first.

So I get off work in three hours, I'll post back how it goes

Just added brake fluid and the pedal got its pressure back. I need to bleed it though, pretty sure I got some air in the lines

Speaking from experience, low fluid does cause a softer pedal. And yes, definitely bleed the system. I've had a leak somewhere in my clutch system for over a month. I'm 99% sure it's the slave, I'm just too lazy to fix it. It still works so I leave it lol. I can always tell when I'm getting low on fluid by how the pedal feels .
