Yea you can use the same cable from the ek chassis its all plug and play! You'll just have to tune in your throttle cable but thats pretty much it!

If you want things brand new, I would suggest goin to www.inlinefour.com they have oem ball joints, or you can opt for extended ball joint like buddy club, blox, and spoon ;)
That website has some really good prices! May have to make a few purchases soon :D

Couldn't get much done in the last two days after the motor came out. Had to head up to Deadhorse to fix a down aircraft. If you watch Ice Road Truckers, this is where they finish at. I live where they start and have driven that road a couple times myself. Anyway, some pics...

 That's pretty sweet! I'd be sketched to drive along any roads those dudes/gals were driving on. Crazy stuff!

Alright, so here's where I was at this morning:

Not using power steering anymore so that can go:

Removing the lines to do a return with vented 2oz reservoir:

Relocating the battery to the trunk (mostly because I need a heavy duty cold cranking battery for the Alaska winters and it won't fit in this spot) and getting ready to install the 99si wiring harness so trying to figure out what wires I need to keep. My 99 harness doesn't include any fuses/relays so i'm going to have to split that out of the wiring. Going to do a wire tuck as well so this spot will be totally empty.

Headed out to pick up a Rockstar energy drink this morning I found a baby grizzly at the end of the driveway. I'm sure his 2000lb momma isn't too far behind.

I know.. I guess I have all the time in the world, but i've been doing some thinking too. I'm thinking I may step up to the K20 or H22 and boost it. Possibly start gathering parts after Christmas?? I dunno. I feel like the B16 is a good stepping stone, but I'm going to need more which is why i'm not really crazy on buying parts. Though if I find a good deal on a turbo B series set up, i may take it and then sell the motor as a whole here locally which should sell pretty quickly.

What do you think? Then hopefully i'll get to move back to Texas and bring it with me.

I'd say if you want to go the Force Induction route stay B-series because its cheaper and less issues....of course K is the way to go as people say, however I believe the K motor is better left in a All-Motor state, and boosting it is very un-reliable...
Here Take A Look At My Bro's 700+ hp ek coupe we not to long ago finished up...

There's so much money poured into this thing its unreal and even after all the cash spent, its still not reliable, so just some food for thought, but hey if you venture to the K go for it just a heads up it can get really expensive ive seen alot of people give up just because of expense issues! ...but if its your future plans go for it and dont let the money discourage you

You make a valid point. My goals arent for crazy numbers, but i would like to see about 300-350 at the wheels. That'd keep me more than happy for a while.

Well personally, if you're looking for that range then a stock k20 can do that!

Have you ever seen the k20 cheesefrog video on youtube?

Thanks man! I'm low on funds right now until I get my Mazda sold. Problem is my parents are in town for another week so I can't get my Civic up and running to then sell the Mazda for more Honda parts... Sigh.. But thanks!

I haven't. I'll check that out! I just like the idea of having a less than common swap although I know it's pretty popular, even my grandma has a B series swap (HA!). I had a buddy about 6 years ago run a H22 in his 93 coupe but that thing was less than nice. Basically a tin can with a motor. No interior, no paint, running open header... I hated being inside that thing. Lost any interest in owning a Honda after that. Glad I found this deal, but now I'm trying to walk that fine line of classy mods with "set it and forget it" type power. Meaning I don't want to keep tuning.

An 88 323 non turbo. I don't think I have any pics of it yet. Not until I list it on Craigs anyway. Paid $300 for it as a non runner (head gasket). Gonna list it for $1500 as soon as the Civic comes back to life.
