Well i spent a decent amount of time at lowes today trying to replicate a fellow rx7 owners bracketry he made for his aem coils. Needless to say my lowes sucks and was pretty much sold out of all the s**t i needed, but i improvised...
This truck is such a conglomoration of crazy parts lol...
Anyway, heres the beginning of how in going to mount them. Gonna try to finish them off when it cools down...

I like the way it looks. To be honest, I'm not too familiar with rotary engines, so I'm not exactly sure where this will mount, but I'm sure it will look sick. As you mentioned, I love the idea that the truck is such a combination of so many different part sources.
Thanks! Im not too familiar with rotary engines either. But i know i like em. I have yet to rebuild one, so i guess ill tackle that hooker whenever need be.
I havent fully decided where to mount the coils but i will probably put them in a place to sorta display them...
Thats the nice thing about building something from scratch. U can put things wherever u want. There are no preexisting holes or any bracketry to use so i just get to do what i want. And nobody to tell me different.
Sure there will be people that say y did u put that there or i wouldve put them here or whatever and i say cool. Then build your own and put them there. I have put a lot of thought into this build and sometimes had the perfect idea in my head, but it just doesnt work out in real life...
I will figure it out though and will be wirking on getting this thing up and running here soon again...
I need to hurry and get them mounted up though so i can start taking some measurements.
Me and the wife are off to denver today. Well after work i guess lol.
I missed our anniversary when i was in north dakota so we r going to get some time away from the kiddos and there is also a truck show going on this weekend.
Basically we r gonna tie one on and just enjoy ourselves.
Really lookin forward to it but i am also stressing that i havent touched my truck...

I've had the itch to mod as well but it's not worth it on my current EP3, thought about buying a 2002 wrx but they only get 20-25mpg which is kind of depressing compared to the 32mpg I currently get. Damnit, everything fun always costs zoo much money!
