I'm moving my Two 12" Type R's into my house after a recent attempt to stealing them.
Using a new 1500w computer power supply to power it inside.
So i want to downgrade my system in my car.
I'm thinking either One 10" with true deep bass but good mid also (that wont "rattle" my girlfriend's brain) haha
or two 8" subs. with decent lows and amazing mid range.

But suggest any other system that might fit what i want also. (not stuck on 8" or 10" subs)

This is totally opinionated i realize that i just want some options for myself so feel free to list anything that fits my criteria.

List some good tweeters too.

BTW no price limit!

Some may disagree with me, but if youre looking for solid yet subtle bass you should go for a JL 10-inch (black not silver cones) with a solid quality amp. Make sure to use the right sized box to optimize your subs capability. You'll be happy & youre lady wont be annoyed... win win! Two 8s will take up more space and not provide as thick deep bass as you'll prefer. Keep in mind JL rates their subs roughly 30% less than actual RMS capacity. Speaker wise, Im quite partial to MB Quarts because theyre ridiculously crystal clear at all levels.

If im not mistaken i can wire one of those subs down to 1 ohm and two down to half ohm w/ a stable amp? well with one that has been known to hold well w/ half ohm (no real stable amps at half ohm)

ha i'll be in your shoes eventually. i sadly found out what kind of bass my girl likes. she likes the sound of the Rockford Fosgate punch. its like all mid bass w/ little to no lows.

MB QUART are junk they sold out to maxxsonics years ago and they started building cheap s*** under the name MB QUART. unless there original mb quart and say made in germany on the back there garbage. since then the original manufacturer of MB made a comback under the name German Maestro.http://www.german-maestro.de/US/strada.htm
