Thanks to both of you:thumbup: I'm still going with T-Mobile, as they don't require a deposit. I had sprint in the past (in my wifes name) and our bill was insane. They also want a deposit, so that's not going to happen. Our metro month "runs out" on the 8th, so were getting the galaxys on the 7th lol no sense in wasting money, right ;)
I think were doing the value plan, it's gonna be like $450 out the door, with the bill being $140 a month, until the phones are payed off, and then it'll go down to right at or just over $100 a month, which, as stated previously, is only $10 more than we're paying for metro.

I chose not to start a new thread simply because I pretty much have my mind made up, and this thread was, and still is about tapatalk.

To get on topic, it still lags quite a bit, but each update seems to help, temporarily, then it's back to the 1 in 3 odds I've become used to.

I have T-Mobile and I have an older phone but it's a decent phone. The mytouch from LG. My girl has the sidekick 4g. Are phone bill is $140 a month. Unlimited text and mobile to mobile calling. 1000 minutes and 2gb data. Where always connected to wifi so nothing is problem. we had metro before t-mobile n it sucked. We had spring before metro and we was paying $180 for unlimited everything with sprint and we didn't need it. Metro ended up being $100 month but service sucked.

The side kick sucks and my girl wishes she never got it. My mytouch is decent for the price. I believe it's free with 2yr contract. I'm into rooting Android phones and I am a ROM developer. I have my mytouch overclocked to 1.52 ghz. I'm also running a custom built cyanogenmod 9 that I built. Cyangenmod is based off of Android 4.0.4 ice cream sandwich. I've had no problems with tapatalk 2 or any other app I have thrown at it.

Awesome! We've been struggling for a while, but since my working has more than doubled our income, we're gonna splurge on new phones, I think we've "earned it" the wife thinks I'm gonna make a vitara build, but I'm actually getting her a new washer lol then, maybe I'll make a mild boost build, maybe ;)

Actually, truth be told, the washer is kinda more for me... Being a stay-at-home dad for a year and a half, I came to realize the one we have is a piece of crap. She could care less lol it makes the clean clothes smell, well, weird. I've been told there is some kind of cleaner you can buy and just run an empty load (lol) but, I've had my eye on that "new" Samsung front load washer for quite some time, hence why I said "new" it's been out for a while, but anyway, back on topic...

I should've multi-quoted, but to the guy with the S3, you got any complaints? So far the only consistent negative I've read us battery life, but that's to be expected with a quad processor lol I have literally 6 samsung 1500 mAh batteries now, so, side from changing batteries often, I see no negatives =) the 7th can't come quick enough :/ oh but what a glorious day it will be! I haven't had a fancy new phone since the droid eris on verizon, and even that was bland in comparison to it's competitors.

Enough babble, time to make this hungry howies my b***h lol

I ain't gonna lie. I use cracked apps. I like to try things before I buy them. Google's return policy is flawed.

I'll run the cracked app for a week if I like I delete then buy the app. Here's the problem tho. I'm rooted so I get a pop up every time a app tries to get root access. I've downloaded cracked apps and games that have asked me for root permission. First off why would a game need access to my system files? Why would a app like tapatalk need access to my system files. There's allot of information that is stored on your phone. Name, email, passwords, credit card information, etc etc......

Allot of cracked apps usually have air push. Air push is malware for an android device. I don't want mal ware on my PC so why would I want it on my phone?

well seeing as how I crack apps myself I have never had a single issue, being a app developer myself for a large finance corp and working on their app I know the ins and outs of the systems lol. As for the developers of games and paid apps oh well it happens in any industry, dont like it... get out

Is a piece of crap, I think attempting to mod it would be pointless, I'm wiling to give it a shot, but I think I'd be better of just waiting til I get the S3.

I have the same feelings toward music, I gotta REALLY like it if I'm gonna buy an album ;)

Oh, and I LOVE the "lowered please wait" with the loading "screen" lol!

I can totally respect that, I generally get the free apps, and if I like them enough, or I "need/want" the bells and whistles, I'll get the paid version.

^^ Yea just holdoff until then you'll love it, its much better than any phone out there now. I read somewhere here that one of y'all said the battery was terrible because of the quad core. The US version is dual core but has 2GB of ram and the international one has quad core and 1gb of ram. So the battery on the s3 is just pretty good.

The reason the us varient got dual core is the fact that the current quad core didn't play nice with the lte chip set/radio. The arm architecture of the dual core is also seperior to the arm architecture of the quad core. So with matching the extra ram with arm architecture of the dual core Samsung was able to match the performance if the quad core
