Crazy ass motor

Hi everyone so I just bought a 95 ex coupe and its not the stock motor. Guy told me its a 1.5 Jdm zc or some s**t but I thought they were dohc and my car has a sohc. If anyone has any idea of whatever this motor is I'd be really appreciative of your input

The motor number is stamped right on the front of the block. Usually near the exhaust manifold.

Does a cz sound right? Idk I was thinking when I purchased the car it was a stock 1.6 vtec

It's a ZC single cam. Had one in an old EF sedan back in the day. They suck, like all single cams.

I'm sure you could call a Honda dealers parts department and maybe find out.
