Theres a reason y people put them "out there" as u say. Its away from hot air and has direct airflow.

Stop trying to reinvent the wheel.

U r trying to hard to be different. U can copy other people on what works. Nobody is gonna care :what:

I dont see what the big deal is. Its a front mount intercooler. They make "kits" that fit your application. But one abd put it on. Thats all there is to it...

Well it would be nice to have a bit of a sleeper but in nv it's illegal to not have your front plates mounted on your front bumper and I just can't find a place I like it
It's in my front window I've been pulled over 3 times for it but I just don't wanna throw it on there

torque that's what makes your car quick not hp
meant to quote this earlier....

torque and hp go hand in hand. horsepower is torque over time. if you could be fast with low HP and high torque, heavy duty tugs would be on the drag strip. They have enough torque to pull airplanes easily, but they are slow as s**t.

and regarding your front plate, at minimum why not use brackets to angle the plate so that it directs air into the intercooler when you drive. Then its mounted in the proper location and helps the boost setup

having a front plate is not going to hurt you much anyway..do you know what an intercooler does and how it works?

2 aluminium picture frame brackets do the trick EVERY time for me.. front plate is mandatory in NJ/NY

if you are capable, buy some sheet metal and fab up a bracket for your plate and mount it on the side of the bumper or wherever you'd like.

sorry if i missed the bus as i just read this thread, but don't take things so seriously. once you get over that hump you will be able to enjoy this forum.

There's a lot more to boost than people realize. Have you ever built a boosted car from the ground up?
