hi i have a honda civic 1.6 ls coupe, the car was fine when i bought it for about two months then one morning it wouldn't start, it just turns over then it will eventually fire up after a few minutes of turning over, ive replaced the fuel filter, hd leads, spark plugs, rotar arm and dizzy cap and its still doing the same thing, it has compression, its getting fuel and it is also getting a spark, just wont start of first turn of the key, any one got any ideas or had the same fault ? if anyone could help it would be a big help

Sounds like timing is off. Double check your marks and be sure the dizzy is correct.

It's not hard for a timing belt to jump a tooth if the tensioner is blew out.

But why would the timing be out if it was all fine before ?
Why do auto parts stores exist? Because $h** breaks. If the car turns over but doesn't fire or runs like crap, I would say 75% chance timing is off (more so if as you say, you have spark and fuel). This can happen in 100 different scenarios. Pull off your timing covers and be sure all the marks line up correctly at TDC and double check your dizzy is set 100%. Trust me. Do it.
