my DOH! moment of the day...

So I did my brakes last weekend. No bubbles, no troubles all went together with ease.

Had a buddy come over to help bleed them because I changed out the rear pads and drums.

We bled the brakes, again zero issues. I tighten up my lugs after i get it back on the ground and drive to class all week...again no bubbles no troubles

This morning my front end is making a terrible noise, I take it to a mechanic thinking the worst like axles or transmission because of the origin of the noise.

Turns out my buddy never tightened the lug nuts on the wheel he was on and my wheel was about to fall off!

I'm taking it into a shop in the morning to get my camber kits installed and get an alignment

Damn bro gotta be careful man!!

You need to invest in a torque wrench so you can prevent that from happening...

I'm waiting on purchasing tools until I finish the Aviation school I'm going too in January. They give a $2500 gift card to snap-on when you graduate

As soon as they show up, just got them off of ebay this morning.

My GI Bill was about $200 more than I expected so I splurged on $30 bucks for the two of them

OK, so I have a small issue and need opinions

I was replacing my VC gasket and the rubber crush washers because I have a fairly substancial oil leak

I broke off one of the VC bolts in the head (stupid I know)

1. What's the torque of the VC bolts, I'm coming up empty online...

2. I plan on covering EVERYTHING with saran wrap and tape, also red rags and using an easy out to remove the broken bolt. What easy out kit have any of you used with success, I plan on picking it up tomorrow.

Also do any of you use RTV along with the stock rubber gasket?

I am running the stock D16Y8 fyi
