New guy

Hi, I'm completely new to this tuner scene. I don't know crap about Hondas or how to go about making it faster. I have a bone stock 95 civic vx. 273k miles on so I'm thinking probably a motor swap, problem is I don't know what's good and what's not. I've looked at specs and what not, but I haven't actually talked to anyone to get an opinion on what I should do. I want performance, body, chassis, the works. Some knowledge would be extremely helpful.

Secondly what's your budget, how much power do you want to achieve, and does your state have any rules about emissions and not putting a turbo on your car or anything like that?

Thank you. My budget isn't really a big deal, just may have to save for a little bit before I get to buy somethings hahaha. I'm in the Air Force so I am all over the place. The emissions thing is ok where I'm at. I have a turbo for but I'm just not sure what it is. It's from turbonetics and it's a t3. That's all I know. Got it from a friend who came about while trading around. Power wise, I hate all these little punks who have these mustangs and they think they are the sh**. So I wanna be able to hang with and even show them up.

Well I'd suggest either boost the D or swap in a B and boost it for the most power. Those to will cost you around the same since no matter what you'll have to rebuild the engine to make a lot of horsepower. N/A K swap is awesome too but pricey and a more difficult swap. How much do you want to spend max on this?

Lived in Minot for a butt load of years but moved away back in 06. The car scene aint that bad... Or at least it wasn't when I was there. Weekly meets would see 20+ cars and we'd often head out to Fargo and catch up with some others over there. GLAD to be gone though. GOD BLESS I hated that state. All 10 years of it (lived in Bis too).

@MistahJuice @Robin... Yea I think I'm gonna go with a k swap. I thinkin more of a Frankenstien too. I'm prolly just gonna build it myself as I go. Get it piece by piece and put it together in my garage and just run that D till I'm done or it goes first.

@AlaskaB16 Yea I've been here for almost three years now. Looking to get orders anywhere else. There seems to still be a decent scene here but I don't know anyone yet. I already hate it here. I guess it could always be worse, still wanna leave though.
