That is one wide tire. But it can help with all that extra horsepower(bigger contact patch)

That is true but I don't know if a x9 wheel up front would be good for dding. I was thinking about just going with 16x8.5 +14 all around, which would be a 2" lip

contact patch wont be that big if the tire stays underneath the fenders. A 8inch wide wheel with a proper fitting 225 wide tire sits right at the fenders with conservative offsets like a +38

It's all good bro! I decided on 16x8.5 +14 2" lips. I'll be trading in my works UNLESS! Someone in CC wants to buy them off me. I would rather someone in CC get them

I'm pretty sure there are only 3 or 4 of us with a red hatch and to the best of my knowledge CHILD and Reed dont have BBS. I'm hoping I don't have to use any chamber kits, I refuse to use them unless I absolutely have to

I forgot to mention that I do believe. It is the specs of the set I'm trying to get. I think later on down the road I'm going to get shorter width barrel depending how theses turn out

So I just realized I've got to buy 2 sets of tires XD blaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah
1 set for the cxcxwr's and 1 for the bbs
I found out there's a snow tire in 195/45/16. how crazy is that? Maybe I'm just dumb.

Yea I have all winter, around here people don't start coming back out till around Feb-Mar. That normally a safe time to bring your lowered ride back out. But there are some people I know who refuse to not drive their cars during winter even though it's low and has nice wheels.They say its being true to the "Static" game. I say it's being dumb and lazy.

lol wtf is the "static" game? I would agree with you on that one. I'm going to have to rise mine up for the winter now that I'm getting rid of my coupe

I guess static is keeping your car super clean and low all the time.

Static as in not moving. It refers to people who slam there cars using coilovers(which are considered static) rather than airbags(which are considered dynamic because they can be adjusted on the fly). TigBitties for example.
