ok well my guess is tps then, it has to be a throttle issue. check your throttle cable out and make sure its working right. all thats left after that is tps which is semi common to go badok tig, bc i already took the intake off to get to the IACV and the throttle body is really clean
yup, thats what i was sayingif you are still able to move the throttle body with the gas pedal, than i don't think there is any issue with the cable.
i think someone already suggested this, but have a buddy monitor the throttle body movement while you are in the car, pressing the gas pedal. If it opens and closes like it should, then everything is mechanically sound.
if this is the case and your car is "jumpy" with just a light touch of the gas pedal then it sounds to me like your TPS is starting to go...
if you look at where the throttle cable connects to the throttle body, you'll notice the cable kind of wraps around a wheel, which turns the throttle body. If you look on the other side of the TB, you'll notice a sensor on there. It helps the ECU to monitor the "position" of the throttle.ok jersey and yes its jumpy by just the touch of the pedal... what does the throttle position sensor look like
