1991 hatchback

So i got an accelerator cable off a 95 civic to put in my hatchback but its way to long.
Ive got the ZC MOTOR in it.
Ive been told 88-91 integra would work the best but idk.
Its slow at take off because of the cable being so long it has way too much slack.
any suggestions?
