the bigger problem is the nrg locks. They only have a couple of different keys for them. So the security aspect is going out the window for nrg. works bell has a different key design and more variations of keys
I was also just thinking about that. Do the NRG locks have the same legitimacy as the Works Bell? I think I'm just going to save up even more and get the Works Bell setup. Makes a little more sense, I think.

the locks are a copied design as well and are pretty good. It's the common key issue that's a little scary.

GEEZE. This sucks man. Sorry to hear/see this :(

Let us know what the claims adjuster says! Back in 06 or so, a drunk douchebag rear-ended me and totaled my EG Coupe. I ended up getting likr $4k for it, which was a lot more than I thought, so maybe all will turn out well! Or perhaps they'll fix it!

wow..... didnt even realise the damage in the first pic until i did a double take. i was kinda blinded by how clean the car is. Sorry again man. but it does look fixable.

on another note.. your wheels... offset 25 right? looks like u have little or no camber.. do you have any issues with tire rubbing? i'm thinking of getting wider wheels with a lower offset compared to the konigs i have now

The car is fixable but i'm not going to come out of pocket just to get back to where I started. My cars value was a little over 3000 BUT....the small side dealership I bought the car from didn't have the title as salvaged when I bought it. They said it was a blue title. So that lil bit drops the value in half. Minus TTL and auction fees, i'm left with only $1150 and my car.

To fix the car, parts alone even scavenged ran up to just under 2 grand. Not including paint, or pulling the metal out or cutting out and replacing the rear section.

I'll be parting out most of the aftermarket parts and letting the car itself go for dirt cheap to get it out of my driveway (when that time comes) I plan to just jump into a dc5 or 8th gen si

Sad Day...well a K24 DC5 would be sick, definitely sexier looking car in my opinion. 8th gen si is a good option too
