98 civic- died shortly after starting and driving now it wont start up HELP!!!!

Im going to be very thourogh with this so u guys can understand the issue so it may be long

OK!!! heres the deal i was riding around with my gf ,kind of dogging it abit, and we decieded to go to the movies now nothing to out of the ordinary happen with the exception of my car stalling out on me as i slowed to stop at a light she cranked right back up no problem but with low idle and the oil like flickered for a quick sec ,didnt really mind it to much. Well continued with our plans got to the movies parked went in had a good time came out car started fine backed out and went to leave out in a bit of a rush because of traffic and right when i got ready to stop at the exit to leave it stalled and wouldnt crank up. It was like the battery was dead it would try but wouldnt crank no start. kept trying nothin. so i tried a good ole push start....no go. tried a second time and it tried but died out (novice gf at the seat lol) well i was stumped and my gf offered the rediculous in my head at the time of check the oil so i was like wat the heck...check it and it was apparently bone dry......which is a complete shocker to me because my car jus had a oil change(mobile one synthetic 5w30) like always just 3-4xxx miles ago only thing different was the sea foam i added a less than 1/3 of when giving her a top end clean out. as far as im aware it does burn oil or leak from anywhere obvious as there are no oil stains where i park and exhaust has never smoked mind with the exception of hard acceration. so we went to the closest gas station got 2 quartz and added but still no go....so i said f*** it let me see if the crank turns grabbed my socket wrench and to my disappoint ment no dice wont even budge.....so i get it towed home well i assumed this was the end for my car but dont understand how it cud seize up if it didnt overheat and ran for like 15-20 secs. Now heres the kicker that blows my D.I.Y mind after think the worst im under the hood staring at the motor and i rock it back in forth in a bit of angered disbelief and guess wat....crank rotates .. i get down and turn the crank by hand and it mother f***ing rotates completely around for multiple revolutions no prob so im alil lift but my batteries to dead to try and crank it at this point so i try to push it again and still no dice and when i go to spin the crank again its stuck rock it once 2 or 3 times and its back loose again then i jus for the hell of it go to check my oil level and guess what its MORE THAN FULL(more than half over the fill max dot) AFTER I CHECKED IT THAT NIGHT AND IT WAS DRY ACCORDING TO MY DIPSTICK!!!!!!! so at this point im mind blown @_@ could it be the oil pump failed and its stopping the crank from turningor sumthing??????? :2confused

When you first checked your dipstick, was the car completely flat? Like in a parking lot? (Usually theyre mostly flat) if you check it on a street usually the dipstick will show that its either low or empty
As for your crank i have no idea. Check your tranmy oil? Maybe the torque converter melted together (if you have an auto)

it was pretty dam flat i was in a parking lot when i checked it and its an 5 speed.. when i put in the 2 quartz of oil i got ffrom the gas station it read that i put that in and the oil was clean and was like alil above the minimum mark and when i check it the las time it was beyond the max and was darker like like the oil that was in there before was hiding or sum s*** lol and then jus reappered

How would he stall if he had an auto LOL.

do you have any leaks or anything because I had kind of the same problem my car wouldnt start because oil was pushing under the sparkplugs and it wouldnt spark you should check that out.

Any CEL's ?
the only CEL i have is for my non existent vtech because the original owner fried the y8 and replaced it with a y7 _-_ but ill recheck that and the car hasnt shown any obvious signs of leaking no oil stain on concrete burning or smoking

do you have any leaks or anything because I had kind of the same problem my car wouldnt start because oil was pushing under the sparkplugs and it wouldnt spark you should check that out.
how did you find out it was doing that??? So i can that cuz i have my plugs out and they look fine

well my head had a leak in it from the gasket which got in the spark plugs and caused the car not to start I rippid out the spark plugs and oil was gushing out.=)

sweet lord :shock: well i doubt thats the case on mine . my plugs r pretty clean with no signs of oil on em or the holes

havent had a chance to check weather beena b**** the last two days im hoping tomorrow i can jump the battery and see if it will turn and start if not ill drop the oil pan and have a look at the internals for any signs of R.I.P. damage but shud she go so prematurely i got a b16a2 i can drop though i would rather her last awhile longer so i can build it before i drop it in......

ok guys so i got another battery and pop that in pulled the ;ugs and lord have mercy she turn so i primed up the oil pump a bit to get her set for a start now it took a few times to get her off be she reved up....but sounded like sh**!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! well i checked timing again and it looks like shes off so ima gona check that n see whats up

yeah it shakes cuz my motor mounts are destroyed but just alil though lol but come to find it also jumped time big time so i adjusted it and surprisingly its running gud with the exception of a like click sound like a valve ma need to be adjusted or sumthin its coming from the 3-2 cylinder area i wish i cud upload a video but my iphone is bricked right now from a funny hack

ok after running it for awhile and went back to check on it and that dam noise is back and its running fugly not as bad as it was before but its stil rather ugly im going to check valves and timing again. i was trying to see if i cud isolate where the noise was coming from by pulling the plugs but no mater what plug i pull it stalls out but it wasnt doing that when i first started her up and she was running gud.....

if compression come out bad so you will need to pulled out the head and see witch value is bend and get it replace then put all back together and with new timing belt kits with each pully that come with the kits to get it replace it
