Looks like I can't reply to comments or what? I need to be respected if I have the opinion to love heated springs so be it I am just giving the guy my advice if he doesnt take it so what. Doesn't mean you guys have to ban me.Little kids these days running forums....

Thread got closed because internet heros won? However I know you have heated springs and I'm not really for that, all that does is fatigue the spring and make it soft and worthless (but kind of a fun ride lol) where as cutting increases the spring rate, and stiffens up the ride.

Maybe I'll get banned next.

Giving advice is fine, but giving blatantly stupid or potentially dangerous advice to a person who unknowingly may go through with it is just wrong. Sure that's kind of their fault for not researching more but there's no need to point them in the wrong direction in the first place.

While cutting the springs may increase spring rate(assuming you're cutting progressive springs), the resulting spring rate for each individual spring is now entirely unknown. They will all most likely vary quite a bit.

Modifying stock suspension for lowering is always a bad idea. Giving up reliability for a useless cosmetic.
