k's oil pans are to low, not low cars are gay
k's get low. People just try to protect their investment or they decide to actually race so a slammed ride isn't appropriatek's oil pans are to low, not low cars are gay
Very well put.IMO: i think alot of you who have a b series and claim to love the ease of fixing, swapping, building, honestly dont understand. Once you start even a little research, a k series is JUST as simple, alot of people also claim the b series is better, i think alot that say that, are just band wagons, because the k is clearly better! I think money plays a lot of the reason b series "diehards" wont convert! This generation is so "all about now" they are afraid to wait, save, slow down!
Personally saving and funding my k series is fun, gives me the chance to get WHAT i WANT THE FIRST TIME! Also setting higher goals motivates me quite a bit!
All this is just MY OPINION but being a k series fan and realizing its not as expensive as its said to be. I have seen how many b series fans throw the $$$ excuse as there first line of defense! Research!
that car isnt low in my book, i can tell just from the positioning of his rear lcas.k's get low. People just try to protect their investment or they decide to actually race so a slammed ride isn't appropriate

Greg, your car is also not very functional at all, nor could you ever circuit race your car at that height. You even say so yourself, half ass pieces to protect your exhaust, and oil pan, that honestly cant be fun, to any extent, i can understand gettin low for a show or meet, but daily. Thats not practical! Also, for a k swapped car, thats actually pretty low, considering what he has invested.that car isnt low in my book, i can tell just from the positioning of his rear lcas.

idk if i would say a 1/4 inch strip down the exhaust is really half assing. its a skid plate basically on an exhaust i had made based on being low.Greg, your car is also not very functional at all, nor could you ever circuit race your car at that height. Lmao john it's all your fault!Poor Alex. Sorry I mentioned a k-swap . Do yo thang gurly.
Holy s**t, thanks for the sig lol.k's oil pans are to low, not low cars are gay
I hear the B vs K debate all the time. Honestly, it comes down to finances in my opinion. Try to get ahold of a FULL k-swap for under $3k. Good luck. I don't want to hear some of you say "OH I CAN GET ONE FOR $1200!" You're full of s**t. I don't care about your "boy who gets dat s**t straight from Japan DAWG. JDM. JDM. JDM. JDM.". K is expensive. They are new engines, in new cars. I remember B's being f**king crazy expensive when I first started tuning (my buddy bought his full b16a2 swap for $2800 in 03, and that was from a buddy of his who shipped it overseas at cost. Ouch.)So.... What you're saying is I can build and build and build a b series that would surpass a somewhat built k series and it still won't be good enough in other peoples eyes?
That's just what I'm hearing. Im not saying that one is necessarily better than the other. Although stock for stock, yes k is superior. Its not money or power I'm out for necessarily, its just what I prefer.
That's all that matters .its just what I prefer.
Co-SignThat's all that matters .
It's nothing about being good enough for anyone but yourself. It's obviously an eye catching build with it going just as you planned it.So.... What you're saying is I can build and build and build a b series that would surpass a somewhat built k series and it still won't be good enough in other peoples eyes?
I just dish out my opinion.its just what I prefer.
This is what I'm saying. Its all personal preference.Holy s***, thanks for the sig lol.

B's have years of tried and true research, aftermarket performance, and end-user experience. The K's are just now starting to find their place in the tuner community. Albeit, they ARE more powerful motors out of the get-go (let's not compare the b18c5. That damn thing is expensive and rare as it is), they just haven't had as many people get their hands on them.
I myself am likely going K, but that's because I've had an NA built 12:5:1 b20z that made 200whp, a boosted b18 that made 300+whp, and I've helped my buddies with numerous B builds. They are awesome little motors, and when built right, are damn near bullet proof, but it's time to bring in the newschool, for me anyway. I support Alex' build, and I think her s*** is going to be legit, and will likely stomp on most of you guys (I said MOST.. some of you fools have ridiculous rides), so yeah.. haha.. /endrant
