Hey everyone. I am new to this site but not new to the civic world. This is my 3rd 8th generation civic. My first was a 07 4 door LX which I traded shortly after for a 08 2 door EX which was unfortunately totaled =/ I did however stay loyal to Honda Civics and get my current car, 2008 Honda Civic Si which I am currently in love with. I didn't mod my first civic it was just a really nice first car to me so I washed it once or twice a week and really enjoyed driving it. It wasn't until I got my 2008 EX that I found out about performance. When I first got my R18 I loved it. I loved how sleek it was to he premium sound system to front end and everything in between. I just really loved the look of the coupe more than the 4 door. I over heard something about a K&N high flow air filter and how it slightly improved gas mileage by allowing a little more air into the intake. I read up on this and for 20 bucks it was a cheap easy way to gain about 15-30 miles to fill up. Over time I thought I wonder what else I could find out to help improve my car... I found 8thcivic.com and corsport and the rest was history. I immediately ordered an AEM Cold Air Intake, my first bolt on which took me far longer than it should have to install. I heard the difference in sound and felt a difference in performance and an even better increase in gas mileage and still wanted more. So in between bolt ons I started doing little mods to "Cindy" I replaced map lights, dome light, trunk light, and license plate lights with much brighter LED lights which is still currently one of my passions. I then installed LED lights into the footwells and some additional accent light in the headlight and trunk. Installed an aftermarket grill, debadged, and blacked out the emblem. Replaced the tail lights with IPCW bermuda LED tail lights and the head lights with Junyan (junkyan) LED halo headlights. They looked ok at night but not so much during the day. OEM went back on then I installed the NST pulley kit which is where I noticed my biggest change in performance. went from an 18.8 to a 16.8 in the quarter mile. Before I could mad anything else someone put me in a wall and totaled her =/ Then rose the Phoenix (my current Si) where I have been modding when I can for the past 7-8 months. The car looks completely different from when I got it and drives even better.
