Converting body panels only or are you talking like the whole shabang? Exterior, interior, motor, .... the works.

99/00 front takes a little hammer persuasion and the rear disk part requires si e brake cables though

they said to just buy an SI because depending on the model you have and the interior color code you are going to have to remove, replace and convert every single piece of the car..............unless you are doing it so that you can have something you did from ground up yourself then its cheaper to just buy a real EM1..................

If ur gonna change everything to si then ur gonna spend a lot of money.

U r better off just getting an si.

the exterior is not si specific so save yourself some money and just look for 99-00 parts. interior wise i would only replace the seats and gauge cluster for em1 stuff

I'm trying to do all by myself from ground up I'm sure it get expensive but its a project so it'll take a while I'm not trying to be done in 6 months lol I'd luv to own an Si but got two kids as a single dad doing it all on my own so they come first the part by part know what I mean heck maybe ill get lucky n win the lottery thanks for the advice though

I don't see the point of using money to change your car and making it look how another car does..stock..when that money could be used to work with what you have and make it look better

Depends on what you're trying to achieve. Like it was mentioned before, 99-00 models have pretty much the same parts except some different ones were offered for the Si. If you want to make your car look like an Si, buy an EX so the mirrors and door moldings are paint matched. Plus you have all the power options. All you have to paint match is the side skirts.

For exterior: grill, fog lights (optional), front lip (optional), rear lip (optional), trunk wing (optional across all models I believe). Not sure what else.
For interior: gauge cluster, shift knob, front (and rear?) seats, climate control amber bulbs. Not sure what else.
For performance: rear disc brakes, engine/transmission, the EX/Si share the same front brakes while they are both bigger than DX/LX/HX

It would probably just be better to look for a used SI to buy and sell your current car.

I'm doing the same thing, but reason i'm doing it is they don't make a 4 door si.
