Hello all, just signed up here on ClubCivic. I'm a regular on EJ8squad and lurk Honda-Tech from time to time. I drive a VSM '99 EJ8. Owned it for about a year now. Not a whole lot done to it. Mostly cosmetic things. I'll let my pics do the talking:

When I first got the car:

Had a Wings West rear bumper, steelies, and for some reason even though its an EX, had black mirrors.

Switched out the stock grille with a Type R style and replaced the halo headlight that were on it with black housing. Also, got 6k(iirc) HID's.

Later, I got fogs, lowering springs, and some Fit hubcaps.

Also, reupholstered my armrest

Ended up getting a new front end, some Fat fives, new tires, and a fit lip.

Sold the fat 5's and picked up RS reps

Picked up a hood bra, paint matched everything(side skirts, lip, mirrors) and threw the OEM grille back on.

Ripped off the lip and fog lights on the freeway. Wanted to switch to clear lenses as it was, so I used that misfortune as an opportunity.
Here's how she sits as of now:

I know I'm forgetting a few things; Odds and ends like the window visors, the radio relocation, wrinkle red valve cover, etc.

Looks good. Now just paint match the front lip . Not a huge fan of HID's in reflector headlights for both safety and cosmetic reasons but to each his own. And I think the 99-00 Si grill looks cleaner .

Thanks. I actually switched out the blue HID's for white because I got tired of every civic I saw driving around with blue HID's...

Thanks. My poison is actually another Fit lip, but I don't have $250 to blow right now. Hopefully soon!

I'm guessing they weren't a projector retrofit.. looked like eBay projectors..

They were the cheap EBay Halo's. Traded them for OEM w/painted black housings. Ended up getting a whole new front end because someone backed into me, so I got the OEM ones then, which I prefer to the black housing.

I'm going to do the DIY CTR headlight conversion tonight. Hopefully I don't hate it lol.

Lol ebay quality. Yeah i dont particularly care for way retrofit looks. I admire work done for it. I wish i could of just got some nice projectors but halos is only option i could find.
