Hello peeps, I got a lot of help from you guys bout 2 years ago on my auto to manual swap but sadly
My car was stolen like 2 months later, so I kinda got out the Honda game and was driving
My girls corolla but now I'm tired of sharing a car. I drive the civic every now and then but its so shabby, so here is my problem I want to change the engine harness to a manual One to get rid of all the extra tranny wires, also they broke my steering column so I wanted to use a manual ignition, can anybody tell me what other harnesses I am goin to need

So do you have the car that was stolen back then? If you already did the conversion once, .... then..... but..

Sounds like to me the car was stolen n he got it back. Now that he has it back in is garage he wants to modify his harness to remove all the unneeded tranny wires

But you see... I just did an auto to manual swap (b16a2 w/trans) and didn't have any tranny wires so this confuses me. The only wires that go there are the speed sens, ground, starter, ... I think that's it. What else could there be? Unless he means the wires that you have to convert at the auto shifter when you remove it tricking your car into thinking you're always in park? Not really a "tranny wire" but... who knows. Someone's looking for mechanical (what?) doors in another thread so I guess this could be what he means.

Click the link in my sig with the auto to manual conversion OP. Inside you'll find TONS of pics showing my auto to manual conversion including the wires and how i did mine.

Yea I got the car back, when they stole the computer, being thives they couldn't just unplug it, they used a screw driver to
Get the plugs loose and now the plug ends looks messed up and for some unknown reason they were ripping Into the harness maybe for shts and giggles that's why I wanna change the engine harness, iguess I can always tape them up but its just one of those ocd things, now there's also the wires that were connected to the auto trans that I got zip tied away. I think you can get rid of those by using a manual engine harness. And yes I want to get rid of all the auto shifter wires

Now that I think about it, I used a 99 GSR manual engine harness for my conversion so that'd be why I don't recall any extra auto trans wires. My bad

I'm thinking if I change the engine and underdash harness I should be good but I'm not 100% sure
