Had some extra money sitting in my Paypal so I ordered up the tie rod inners and outers. Mine are making a terrible noise

ok, this is gonna sound like a stupid question, but how do you know the sound you're hearing are your tierods? I guess I've never had bad ones, so not sure what sound they'd make. I DO know what bad CVs sound like, though. Wish I didn't (thankfully wasn't MY car)

Well, it's either the tie rods or the ball joints. I decided to replace both because on the freeway the car follows every crack in the road (tie rods) Then the terrible noise, so I'm replacing both.

Talked to my dad tonight, he wants me to get another integra as a dd and build the civic for the track. I've been talking to him about jobs a lot lately.

Opinions on integra/civic, what careers do you guys think are up and coming?

good idea. If gonna do one, might as well do both at once. That way whichever was causing problem/noise gets fixed, and only have to pay for one alignment

Yep. One alignment. I'm going to do my trailing arms at the same time. I have some mad bump steer in the back

It's great, costs less than 50 bucks and a couple hours. I had a few cans laying at the shop so it cost me about 30 or so

Did you use rattle cans or a spray gun? I found a kit at dipyourcar.com but its $400. $400 is to pricey for something that's gonna be temporary. $50 I can do

Rattle cans from lowes and Home Depot. As long as you go slow it will come out even. I do rims at work a lot so the stuff isn't anything new to me. Make sure the tip stays clean and start with something simple like a hood or a trunk

How many cans you think to do my sedan and how many for the rims? I'm thinking black for the car n Gunmetal for rims.

The cans only come in black and clear. You can get the gallon cans but you have to cut it and spray it out of a gun. I used 7 or 8 cans? I think. Do 8 for a dark colored car, 10 for a light.
