Find a local board and I think you might have a chance selling them. Find people with 8th gen civics they are more likely to want a 17" wheel.

Build the d and buy my cam lol
LOL all I have ever had though is B and K series. To be honest, the D is a bit...heartbreaking. Don't get me wrong, it's a great little motor, but I do miss the punch of my K...

Bad News/Good News

Hey all! Sorry it has been so long. A lot has gone on that has put me a bit behind. Back in early October, I got injured (torn ACL, blown meniscus, fractured tibia, and bruised femur) and was awaiting surgery. Four days prior to the surgery, I ended up rear ending a brand new Porsche 911S. D'oh! The CHP officer was like "Oh, well it's raining, you were only going 15 mph, yadda yadda yadda". Needless to say, my car didn't get hurt real bad, but she did get hurt and that's just no bueno for anybody. The lady in the Porsche tried to claim neck injuries at first, but she got over that real quick. Whatever.

Now onto the good news. After my surgery and some considerable healing time, I've been doing some research and found that it's going to be MUCH more cost effective if my buddy and I tackle it ourselves and then just have his buddy paint it. This leads me to the good news portion: since I am going to be saving money I can update a few things while I am at it. Projectors are going into the trash and CTR housings with HIDs will be replacing them. The windshield is toast, so that goofy blue/red banner will be gone. I am thinking I will put the rest of the money away to either begin my B16 build, or start putting together the parts needed to turbo the D16. Not sure. I'd love some comments from both sides...

Lol @ Failsafe! Bro, how did I know you'd come at me like that? Hahaha. Don't worry, I am considering the D. But after having a K, it's hard...

My buddy has a '98 Ex and he told me he was rebuilding his D16 but he showed up last Thursday at our car club with a built B18C, and duped me. I hate to be duped, but if you're going to do it that's a sure fire way to make me smile...

Ok go k swap or build and turbo the d. Or turbo the d have fun with it then buy k swap build it then use what you can from turbo kit and swap ib the k then turbo it.

Hmmm...not a bad point. The D I have has only 67k on it so maybe I will boost it with low psi for now just for a little added push, and build a B on the sidelines just for fun. The K is out of the question due to price, but if I had the cash that's the route I would take no doubt. This is what I love about Hondas, though. Variety. Choices. We have a car that really is engineered for the total motorhead (I doubt they knew that during development, but thanks to people with a passion for cars, it happened anyway). And with that comes people like you Emerican, tokyo skies, alaskab16, 203CT, mymmeryloss, Blayze, Crash!, and pretty much everyone else on this site, willing to impart your knowledge and experieces to those less knowledgeable (like myself). With that, I thank you all, and look forward to keeping my car going strong through advice and support.

Wow man thanks for the shout out. I try and help anyone on this site if I can. I'm still pretty new to the Honda game a little over a year being serious about building my car. One thing I do know is this site is where my passion all started. Everyone up here is so helpful and always gives good input.
