Well today can best be described as a failure

Broken knock sensor, broken PCV valve....I should say the plastic crumbled in our hands when trying to disconnect them.

knock sensors are expensive as hell for this car

oh yeah, broken motor mount too!

Who would have though that the rubber components in this car would be so rotted in Florida

This is how day two began


just finished and I have a new water pump, timing belt, all three serp belts, head gasket, vc gasket, the plug wire gaskets on the inside of the VC, o-ring on dip stick, new oil drain plug and washer, and two new motor mounts, knock sensor, PCV valve

i've replaced every oil leakage point other than the mains, and the oil pan.

good we think lol

it was blowing a little white smoke but it was also 41 degrees when we finished

no leaks that we could see, but I haven't driven it home yet, it's still at my friends garage about 15 miles out of town

Got the car home a few minutes ago, ran like a damn champ!

I never knew how bad the motor mount was until I replaced it with the new one, there's zero vibration at highway speed now.

Now I need to replace the other two!

Snapped a couple after washing out the engine bay



Jager girls gave these wristbands out at the Halestorm/In This Moment concert a few weeks ago. I'm not a big fan of the reservoir socks but this was to cool not too.



Also do all stock manifolds look like this? Seems like it's not stock and had the aluminum cover tabs welded on?
