So i took my brake assemblies back to work and tore them apart in the vice.
Heres the aftermath.
Threw away the dust shields. Just need to wire wheel everything and repaint and pop out ball joints and replace rotors and bearings and all that good stuff!

Yeah really. Once my car is running again,we will meet for sure.
It's on the strip in Pigeon Forge Tn about 5 miles lined with everything from classic to new. It starts on a Friday and ends Sunday. 1000s of cars and people. There is never a empty parking spot on either side of the strip built rides everywhere. Not including the mass of rides cruzing the strip. Oh and can't forget the boobs lol if you have beads there are boobs to be seen everywhere lol it happens twice a year. Once in the spring once in the fall. I always try to make it to at least one. I normally rent a cabin about a mile or two off the strip. Look up pigeon forge rod run on YouTube.
You should come and meet up. I live like 45 minutes from Pigeon Forge. I used to live there actually.

I used to live about a hour 1/2 near Asheville NC but I moved up to Ohio a year ago. I still try to make at least 1 rod run a year. Normally in the fall.
BOT. So i recieved an email from my engine builder. Says he got the engine torn apart and everything us in good shape.
So we will just be doing new hard and soft seals and a street port and basically putting it all back together. Should keep costs down greatly.
Now i just have to man up and decide in an engine paint scheme...
