Lol, not necessarily. Even at Porsche we give the common little stuff like that away for free to our customers. The more common bolts, washers, nuts, etc we have in bins as shop supply. I am sure Honda has the same thing. Our whole auto group (the owner owns Porsche, Audi, Mercedes, VW, Toyota, Nissan, Hyundai, Cadillac, Jeep, Chrysler, and Dodge dealerships) has bins like that.If not, dealerships will definitely have them, you'll just overpay for one lol
I don't really think VC bolts are common though, plus the bolt is probably $5 or so... D series VC bolts are pretty long, they're not just common bolts you can buy from a hardware store.Lol, not necessarily. Depends on the hardware though. They may not give those for free. All depends on where they get the hardware from and if they have that particular size/thread pitch. If it is something that they can only get from Honda, expect to pay for it.
You are probably right. I don't recall how long or what size the VC bolt is. Sounds like the cheapest route is going to be a junkyard then.I don't really think VC bolts are common though, plus the bolt is probably $5 or so...
