Hey guy's, my names Cody and i'm from Michigan. I'm new to this forum but very familiar with other forums and cars. I've owned quite a few Hondas in the past (5 to be exact), then went to the Subaru side and just recently came back to Hondas to save money/buy a house. I picked up my 6th Honda, 99 Civic Si in EBP last week. It's completely stock except for a Thermal R&D catback exhaust and k&n drop in filter. I picked it up form a 52 year old car enthusiast who took amazing care of it for a really good price.

I've got some plans in mind, nothing too crazy as i want a nice solid daily driver. I've had my fast cars in the past (turbo d16z6 coupe, gsr swapped 5 lug converted ek hatch, 13.0 second 06 wrx, 12 second 04 wrx (which i still own and selling)

Just thought i'd introduce myself and say hello. :D

Here's some pictures of my previous cars from most recent to oldest:

STUPID clean cars. I'm jealous of all of them

In for updates! You've already got a great base, and that exhaust is pretty nice!

Thanks for all the kind comments! The em1 is one of the cleanest Hondas I've owned, the interior is absolutely mint, the body is great but has a few scuffs in the paint which I plan to buff out. It's got 159,000 on it but looks and drives more like 59,000.

So far I've purchased:
-Gates racing timing belt
-OEM Honda parts- tensioner, waterpump w/gasket, thermostat, p/s,a/c and alternator belts, cam seals, crank seal, vtec solenoid gasket, oil pan gasket, sway bar end links
-Blox cam plug
-Energy suspension shifter and sway bar bushings
-distributor cap and rotor
-NGK plugs
-fuel filter
-EBP touch-up paint.

I came back to Hondas because I'm in the process of buying my first home with my wife and I need/want to have a cheaper car payment than my Wrx for now. My Wrx should be sold this weekend then we can close on the house.

Long story short, I sold the black Wrx to save up money for a house and I was driving my wife's old 94 Honda accord. About a week later the accord took a crap so I bought the blue Wrx, then the transmission broke within 24 hours of owning the blue Wrx so I spent our down payment money we had saved up to do a full Sti 6 speed transmission swap. The swap alone was $5400 :(

Thank you sir!

I'm throwing a PO420 code so im swapping out the cat for a resonated test pipe today to see if it helps. I dont think im going to like the sound but ill get an OEM cat eventually.
